Masterson’s Lounge, situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my recent visit at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I discovered behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .
The State of the Venue : Unhygienic and Neglected
From the moment I walked in , it was evident that cleanliness was not a priority at this venue. The floorboards were filthy, and a overpowering stench of decaying beverages and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , old age and illness .
